Having been dragged kicking and screaming from the UK to the Alps, after marrying his French wife a few years ago, Jonny operates from our satellite office between Geneva and Grenoble. Joining The Bespoke Group in 2010, Jonny is part of the senior management team and claims that the varied role of a PR account lead and opportunity to work both with clients in different sectors and with an array of media – from mainstream to vertical – is what he enjoys most about life with us.
Despite attempts to convince us that his musical taste is actually quite diverse, conversations about Iron Maiden or The Stones (who he reckons he once got ‘paid to see’) are usually only had between himself and, well, himself. However, when it comes to another hobby of beermat collecting (tegestology, as it’s apparently known among enthusiasts), he has remarkably managed to find a kindred spirit in our team with whom he can do ‘swapsies’.
Despite the lack of British pubs and real English teabags sometimes being in scarce supply, Jonny promises to try and tough out life in France – a hardship that we appreciate is made much easier with the ski slopes only 30 minutes’ drive away and the country’s largest freshwater lake only several minutes by bike.
